MEET AMANDA


If you don’t know me yet, my name is Amanda Sette. I’m a NASM certified personal trainer, behavior change specialist, and avid lover of all things fitness and health. My own personal fitness & health journey has inspired me to start Athena Fitness & Wellness so I can help others completely transform their lives, inside and out.

My passion for confidence building and teaching self love bleeds into my training style, workout programs and overall message on social media and in my daily life. Without it, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I gained around 30lbs in college and began hating my body. I felt so insecure about the way I looked and so badly wanted to see a change. I found fitness, but also found myself adopting unhealthy habits. I began obsessively counting calories and restricting myself. This led to major weight loss and I became underweight.

I eventually realized I had developed these unhealthy habits and decided to make a change. I stopped the tracking and focused on healing both my mind and body. Over the course of 3 years I regained weight, built muscle, and developed an unshakable core of self love. Cultivating this healthy relationship with food and exercise is what got me through the tragic passing of my mom. Without fitness, I wouldn’t have made it through that dark period of my life.

Self love is the foundation of all my training programs. I firmly believe that a basis of self love is what creates long lasting, lifetime results. I work with each of my clients on boosting their confidence levels from day 1. We celebrate all victories, big and small.
